I hope that your first Friday was as fun as mine (a spot of shopping, a couple of cocktails and then chilling out in front of bad tv - heavenly) and here's to the first Saturday of 2015!
While we're in the midst of winter, you might want to add a glow to your party or Saturday glam look! Alternatively, if new-Mum status has you trapped in the house it might just be that you want to fake that healthy glow you had pre-sleep deprivation!
Watching post-Christmas purse strings needn't mean that you have to sacrifice the faux-St Lucia glow. Enter… MUA Bronzed Perfection courtesy of Superdrug here in the UK.
This offers a *whopping* 15g of bronzer product for a mere £3. Three of the Queen's English!
The further upside is that this bronzer, unlike some of the shades within the normal bronzers by MUA (£1 a piece), isn't orange when applied. So this can actually be used for contouring given that there is minimal shimmer and that the shade is fairly cool - particularly for more budget range bronzers.
As you can see in the above picture there's some shimmer, I've not worked my way through the entire first layer yet so I can't comment as to whether there is only on the embossed top pattern (as can by the case in some the higher end palettes).
For the price this bronzer offers great value for money - and is a great option for those who might be contemplating practicing a Kimmy K inspired contoured look, but don't want to spend a fortune on a bronzer when they don't currently wear a lot of make-up at the moment. This range is very readily available in the UK via Superdrug outlets.
As you can see on my "so pale it looks dead" hand, the bronzer can give quite a rich tone (bottom) but when blended out with a looser packed brush the colour is very neutral and wearable (top of the hand). Not entire sure why the bronzer started condensing during the photoshoot…must have felt somewhat under pressure being photographed so frequently within five minutes!
